What an amazing opening to our 7th year! With a sold out house, Santa Cruz Poet Laureate Morton Marcus moved us with reflections on Kerouac's work, and Mayor Ryan Coonerty proclaimed the next nine days as "Santa Cruz Film Festival Day." Audiences were blown away by Curt Worden's "One Fast Move or I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur" which was discussed at length over wine and music at the opening night party in the Museum of Art & History.
Now it's time for day two. What films will you go see?
