While we had an awesome time as a foster home for the guys during 2008, New Found Glory's new record on Epitaph called Not Without A Fight and it's out in stores now.
NFG is a band we consider "friends," "xfriendsx," or at least really grateful dudes who either have huge closets or horrible short-term memories as they seem to always lose their B9 gear and need more of it. In the equivalent of a 10-day NBA contract, our new "signings" Paint It Black are out all week with Propagandhi. Next month, Paint It Black will be entering God City studios to record with engineer Kurt Ballou. Slated for release in June 2009, the as-yet-untitled EP, according to frontman and modern philosopher Dan Yemin, “[This] is our fiercest shit to date. Except one song sounds like Fugazi having a three-way with Jawbreaker and Nirvana.”
Look for the EP to be available on vinyl & digital worldwide from Bridge Nine, B9store.com, Itunes, Amazon, Paint It Black shows, your jackass “blog” full of mediafire links and independent retailers that still carry 7" vinyl in June 2009.

Ruiner's got a Spring that is pretty relaxed compared to last year. After Ruiner spent 2/3 of 2008 on the road, Ruiner is shifting gears in 2009 to focus on writing their followup to 2007's Prepare To Be Let Down...but they're still finding time to be busy.
Ruiner is playing a show tomorrow with Propagandhi and Paint It Black at the Ottobar in Baltimore and SXSW on Friday March 20th in Austin, TX at the Shirts for a Cure benefit at Red 7 with Dillinger Four, The Bouncing Souls, Darkest Hour and the AKA's. Not bad.
