Its been a long time since a woman called me "Safe", "like her brother" or "like a teddy bear"... Years in fact since anyone has said that to me. I hadn't really thought about it until last night when a woman I barely know, made the comment that she would have no with me approaching her in a bar because I'm "safe". Fuck!!!! Just what everyone man wants to be told: He's Safe. Yeah. Translation, I don't find you even remotely attractive and consequently I don't have to worry about what I say, or what I do around you, and so I can talk to you without worrying about if you want to take me home, cause you can't. Yay. On the upside it means they don't think I want to roofie them and chop them up and put them under my bed. So I'm safe on that front. On the downside it means, I'm fucking doomed. Great. This explains a lot. I need to murder someone and hang their fingers on a jacket made from dead puppies, and then someone might think I'm dangerous, both literally and figuratively. Or possibly just gross. In this town I'm sure some crazy woman will find that to be the hottest thing since sliced bread. Until then I'll just wait to meet a woman who thinks I'm not safe. I love life.
