Well hey myspace friends!  Whats up?!?!

Anywayz, a lot of time has passed since the last update on whats goin' on in Jakeville USA lol!  Thought it seemed like an appropriate time to fix that ;-)

Soooo to date I have lived in good ol' Minnesota for over a year now, I know, I KNOW hard ta' believe right?!?!  Honestly for the first few months I HATED this place, but ya know what?  It is a pretty sweet place, right now it feels a lot like my home (I know some of you really dont wanna hear that :-S)...! Currently I live in Hermantown MN, in the Deerfield luxury (ya right) Townhomes, my job has been interesting but I get paid to ride around in a boat on some really beautiful lakes, my fav. is prolly White Iron!  I have seen some of the dinkiest small towns I would never wanna live in, but work in everyday hahaha!  I have learned the agony of office work, but always remember that the month and a half of summer in D-town makes for an awesome field season outside the office!!!

I still think alot about New Mexico and really wanna go back someday, but its hard to say when...!   So to remind me of why I'm going back I will compile a list of what I REAAALLLY miss most about NM....K, here we go....Ahem.....Uhhhh.....

New Mexico:
Restaurants: Of Course!!!
-Chiles (chips and beer mmmm)
-Any restaurant that served New Mexican food!
-Sonic
-Long John Silvers
-Aarons house (master of ingenious food creations LOL)
What I miss about the state itself:
-Extended summers (I wanna go back to thinking 60 degrees is what a REAL winter is haha)
-The smells, lets face it Minnesota smells like ass...! Dirt smells waaaayyy better than swampy wetlands yeesh :-S
-Albuquerque and Las Cruces
-The taste of dirt on a freakin' annoying windy day in Cruces (Ya, I miss that ;-)...!)
-Mountains...!!!!!  I cant stress that enough!!!!!
-ohhh and basically everything else...
General stuff:
-My family, geez I see them a couple times a year :-/, much to my surprise I usually have a new cousin when I go back and visit haha :-), love ya guys!!!
-My hombres back in Cruces! Still wish we could hang out just like the ol' days! Aaron has managed to anchor himself in Cruces, better be saving some money dude!!!! haha j/k
-And although he is among my mid-western bretherend now, my friend Justin!!!  It has been wayyyy to damn long, I think the last time we hung out was bartlesville beatdown, Christmas 2007! Airline tickets are cheap now hermano ;-)!

What I like about Minnesota:
-My good friends Duane the Rock, Matt the American bada@$, Ryan, other Matt, Tamara ultimate cook/wingwoman ;-) lol, and lll even say Jen (good times haha)
-I also like....ummm...the....eagh....cant think of anything else :-S

And there you have it...!  I find myself thinking alot about whats changed and how big of an impact its had on my life, for better or for worse I still consider everything in my life right now a blessing, thanks Big Guy (God) for always watchin' over us :-)!
