In the Metal Shop, George takes a look at the new CD release from MISLED.
Misled have released their CD "Days of Darkness" and is a good representation of their live sound.
The opening track, "Introspective Fool", like most of the tracks, blend their brand of rock music w/ punk overtones.
The first half of the CD shows them playing at a fairly mid-tempo pace whereas the latter half picks it up, all the while displaying their craft for writing catchy tunes. Picture a combination of Danzig crossed with a less speedier Ramones and you get the idea.
If there's really only one gripe is that it sounds like the vocals were mixed a bit higher than the rest of the music. However, the songs are concise and catchy and a good way to introduce yourself to the sound of a solid rock band. | ....
