hey there everybody !!
this fall has been a busy time for the Stillhouse Jammers....after a great gig at the Big E (the Eastern States Exposition Fair) in September, we spent 10 days on our first ever road trip ~ our "No Expectations Tour '07"!! ~ we left New England on a Wed. 9/26/07, headed into Pennsylvania for a bluegrass Jam at Chaplin's Music Cafe in Spring City; then onto Thomas WV, to play a funky little place in the Appalachians, the Purple Fiddle on Thursday. From there, we went right to Rosine KY on Friday to the Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Celebration at the Old Homeplace of Bill Monroe (truly sacred ground) and played there on Sunday afternoon. While in KY, we also visited the IBMA Museum in Owensboro and the gravesites of Bill Monroe and Uncle Pen. We then went to Nashville for the IBMA World of Bluegrass trade show and fan fest week. Met with many new and old friends and saw some great acts, of course. I have posted an album of photos from the trip here on my space, please check 'em out and feel free to leave comments :-)
this coming Saturday, November 3rd, the STillhouse Jammers will be at the Weston Playhouse in Weston VT for a show with the Atkinson family and Junior Barber & Beartracks. weston playhouse
We are looking forward to the upcoming year which we know will be filled with some new and exciting adventures for the Jammers.....stayed tuned !!
