Hello friends,

We are devastated to report the loss of another one of our 2009 Pitbulls. Piglet, Miss October 2009, suddenly passed away due to a brain tumor this week (May 2009). We are heartbroken over losing her. Jessica, our hearts go out to you from all over the globe.

Jessica, Miss October 2009, writes this today about Piglet:


"I could (and likely may) write a book about everything Piglet has taught and given me. She showed me every day what unconditional love truly was. She taught me about forgiveness and patience. She was the most precious and special gift our creator could have ever given me. Part of my heart has been taken from me with her death. And that void will be felt until she and I meet again. She is the greatest love of my life."  


Piglet, we will miss you very much. We've been touched by the opportunity to work with you. You were dearly loved.

Just know that God sees that you are doing great things for these animals and you will not be looked over, many good things will come your way. She looks so much like my girl.  I think I would be laying in my bed, crying my eyes out for months if something happened to her.  So, I want to say to Jessica how sorry I am for your loss!

Hi Jessica,
I'm so very sorry to hear about your sweet Piglet. I know how devasted you feel, as I have lost my soulmate as well. I hope it gives you some comfort to know you are not alone in your sorrow. We will be reunited with our sweet baby's one day and until then I feel his (Sam) presence around me constantly and Piglet will be with you in spirit as well. We are so lucky to have felt such pure love, how many can say that?

We are so blessed to have these magnificant creatures in our lives. No one ...but no one can understand the loss of a Pittie until they experence it. I am truely sorry for your loss of Piglet. Their time with us is but a few years ...15-18 at best......they give us more love, peace and joy in those few years than some of us experence in a lifetime. My heart goes out to you. ......

..My deepest condolences for your loss...:(  Back in October I had to put down my cat of 12 years and it tore me up so bad.  IzaBella was only six months old at the time, but she got me through those dark days.  I know that one day she will be gone too, but I cherish every second of every day that I get to spend with her as if it's our last.  The memories you have of Piglet will always be with you and the love you have for her will never die.
