Left Late Thursday, After storms and After Boy got out of Classes. Rode about 180 miles in the worst wind I have ever seen. Looking in the mirror, seeing your son sideways and headed for the ditch fast is Heart pumping. Spent the night with my Aunt.

Enid OK Friday morning, Had breakfast with My favorite Aunt, and the Aunt I had only Met once before, She Cried, It was good. (Family issues from so far back it doesn't make sense.) We head out south, Because it is freekin cold. Son was riding Spyder Pig. Pure Naked SV with Ventura tourpack system. (This thing is great BTW) We rode and rode and rode. West Oklahoma and Texas to just shy of Hobbs, NM. Stayed in the worst motel for the worst price ever. Tj And I made tons of jokes about color of towels and sheets and pillows. Ick!

Saturday Morning we rode over to Carlsbad NM and had some Breakfast, Then went and did the full walk of one Big A$$ Hole in the ground. About three hours. Next we Rode up to Roswell NM and Had a Starbucks Quad Shot, Then toured the Alien Museum and Research Center. Ate Alien Mexican Food and Then Rode out to Bottomless Lakes State Park, where we pitched our tent and Crawled in for the night. The largest Raccoon I have ever seen stole all our Peanut butter crackers, And would not give the box back, I tried, He laughed,,, "feeble Human" Note: Do not leave food out, in Desert, Even if no bear.
Sunday We got up, 32 degrees, Rode back to Starbucks, Had another Quad, Went and Ate at the UFO Mcdonalds. and waited for it to warm up a little. It didn't, So we rode from Roswell to meers, only stopping for gas, and one apple. Had a great Meers Burger and Peach Cobbler with Homemade Icecream. Then rode home. We got in at 12:30 this morning.

Boy was as hard core as it gets. 660 miles yesterday, Half below 45 degrees, 1/4 below 38 degrees, all on a Naked SV650, With no heated gear, He is still asleep!!!! 1700 miles in three days. Minus the 180 Thursday, That includes Three hours of Carlsbad Cavern Hike, and alien Museum tour.
