I just got my contributor's copy of a jewelry book which features two of my designs.
It's called 'Making Designer Mixed Media and Memory Jewelry' by Tammy Powley, also the judge of the beading competition I'm running (for details on that see previous entries).
A few people have asked how my jewelry came to be featured in print - and the answer is blind luck, but I've since discovered how it 'should' be done.
For me, I was setting up my shop www.originaljewels.com on www.etsy.com and listing lots of necklaces, a few of which were spotted by the publishers. They asked me to submit two designs and ended up publishing both.
The book can be bought from www.amazon.com
I've subsequently found out that the best way to get published is to find the websites of craft book publishers and look for their 'calls for entry' pages.
Here's a pic of one of the pieces they featured - from my 'Grandma' line...
