H. Alexander Robinson and Gregory Merle Satorie were married on October 21, 2008 at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in San Francisco.

Alexander is the son of Harry Robinson and the late Bessie Mae Robinson of Richmond, Virginia. He is the executive director and CEO of the National Black Justice Coalition. Alexander was active in the San Francisco Bay Area LGBT community in the early eighties serving on the Pride Celebration Committee and with Stonewall Gay Democratic Club.

Gregory is the son of Theodore Richard Satorie and Mary Lou Satorie of North Bend, Nebraska. He is Minster of Music for Grace United Church of Christ in Baltimore, Maryland, New Covenant Metropolitan Community Church of Laurel, Maryland, and the Music Director for Positive Voices and the Czech-Slovak Heritage Choir.

Sabrina Sojourner of Washington, DC and Dr. Phil Terry of Laurel, Maryland attended the grooms. The Rev. Dr. Ken Samuel of Victory of the World Church United Church of Christ in Atlanta, GA and the Honorable Darryl Moore of Berkeley, CA officiated. Dr. Sylvia Rhue served as a reader for the intimate ceremony. Charlene Moore of City of Refuge United Church of Christ, San Francisco provided inspirational music.

Alexander wore a three-piece black Hugo Boss tuxedo and Greg wore a black Cignal suit. The grooms wore matching gold with burgundy accents neckwear from Brooks Brothers. The rose and orchid boutonnières and Ms. Sojourner's bouquet were created by Church Street Flowers.

The ceremony was followed by toast and dinner at 2223 Restaurant in San Francisco's historic Castro District. The happy couple plan to host a hometown celebration in Baltimore, Maryland and honeymoon later in the year.
