I feel strange. Changing a city is like changing your body. If Grant Morrison is right, then our city lives are nothing but a virus, living on the earth as one collective being. In that case I'm exchanging my self for another body of viruses. The city is a virus, forming a body of common consciouseness. Have you noticed, when on the countryside, your bodily functions seem to change? You eat more, sleep more, drink more coffee? I think there is a reason for this. I mean, the air is different obviously, but its also a question of being dismembered from your common consciousness, living on the earth as an individual. I have thought about this on the countryside, when my health is better, and i seem to be able to charge my being. Now I am leaving for New York, which is of course a city, much bigger then the village I've been living most of my life.
