The title sounds familiar, but then again, I have a few books on sex magick. Is it as interesting as it sounds?

Yeah - its not bad. Alas not about sex magic really, more an extended essay on Magick, it's relevance, etc. Dukes is of course a well known advocate of externalizing emotions, feelings, etc as Demons, Gods and what have. An oversimplification of his arguement but there it goes.

Being lazy he said: "*In SSOTBME I suggested that the surest way to map out human culture was by using a compass with four directions: Art, Science, Religion and Magic. I suggested that to ignore or deny Magic was a bit like denying the existence of a hole in the road - it simply increased the chance of falling into it."

I'm working on a theory that all these power-hungry, sadistic, self proclaimed Magister Templi are actually the ones who have fallen to the last great pit-fall of the abyss. There sure are a lot of them though.  Too bad society doesn't fight against them harder.
