I know recovery is not easy. In the past, my strength to say goodbye to alcohol usually came from others stories of success, not from my own . To know that we are not alone in our struggles and to know that someone else has been through what we are dealing with can be the greatest gift and relief. Your story is unique and we want you to share it so your story can help in assisting and encouraging others. Your " Old Friend" can be anything from depression, suicidal thoughts, addiction, self-injury, or eating disorders. Take a few minutes and tell us how you told that old friend "Good Bye".

Written Story: How it works

1. Submit your written or Audio story Through Email at: oldfriendofminestories@gmail.com

2.Your story is submitted for approval. Once your story is approved, it will appear on the site.

Video Story: How it works

2. Visit: (enter video url once uploaded) to view the "Old Friend of Mine" video

3. Click on the "Post a Video Response" option and record or post a video of you sharing your story.
