Ah!!!
So I'm playing a show at the Reverb tomorrow!! Crazy stuff!!! I'm playing seven songs.. made my set list .... it should be amazing!! I'm playing first, and then my friend Nathan's band "The Jayce" is playing after me. They're SO talented! Nathan is a really great singer :)
If you're planning on being there..... you're in a great time !!
So..... tomorrow is exciting because of the show, but also kind of stressful....but in a good way I think.... well.... I have Philosophy class from 10-12 (hmm maybe I'll get my paper back?), and I have Info Tech Management from 12-2 and then I'm getting my hair done at 2:30-3:30 - and then I'm going home to grab my guitar .. probably get home at 4, and then I'm leaving to go downtown and help Nathan with equipment aaaaah!!! and I'm getting my makeup done at 6 at the Reverb... and I'm playing at seven fifteen!!!
Does that leave any free time? haha I don't think so.. but it's totally worth it because the show should be great!!! ... hmm hopefully I'll find time to eat at some point.... or maybe I'll just eat a good breakfast lol I'm just kidding.... hmmm I don't really know when I'm going to eat though, but oh well.
So I hope the weather is good tomorrow evening... so many people coming !! ah!!!
I should probably go to sleep.... oh yeah so today I went to Indigo and bought a couple of books... and I got a membership card to Indigo... and apparently if you're a teacher you get a discounted membership card... so I told the lady that I teach music ... and she let me have a discounted membership lol 20$... and 10% of anything else I buy at Chapter's for the rest of the year.. and I like to read a lot, so that should pay for itself in the next year !
So... I wrote a new song.... don't think it's ready for the show tomorrow..... but I'll for sure try to record it to put up here for you to listen to .....
It's pretty sweet... just about how it's really important to live the life that you want to... and not really play by other people's rules.... something I'm kind of dealing with at the moment because I really want to be a musician/songwriter as my career!! ... and I'm going to do whatever I can to make that happen....
So anyways... I bought a book by steve harvey "talk like a woman, think like a man" haha kind of funny title...but it apparently helps you to understand boys better.. and a friend of my stepdad's said it would change my life ... so hopefully it will....
Also... everyone has been talking about "the secret" and people seem to find it life-changing ... so I might as well give it a try..... haha maybe one of those miracles will happen to me... like all those people who went on opera to talk about how the secret changed their life..... anybody see that last spring? kind of cool....
