"The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind."
That was my refrain, this past weekend. I was up in Phoenicia, NY, a stone's throw from Woodstock, where I took part in an event called Kidstock. It was hosted by and featured
Uncle Rock & the Playthings, as well as
Paul Green's School of Rock. My part of the event was essentially a hike for kids (and their parents) through the woods, where they encountered rock n roll icons from the Woodstock era. And I was enlisted as Bob Dylan... So much fun talking and playing for the kids, and I sported my Ray-Bans all weekend long. The afternoon even ended with a true-to-Woodstock rainstorm, and ironically, Michael Lang, original producer of Woodstock was out in the woods with me at the time, we were huddling under some trees.. The event raised money for
Friends Of Snuffy, a non-profit that buys food for pets of owners who are struggling to make ends meet in this economy, thus preventing them from having to put their pets in animal shelters..

By the way, playing harmonica ain't hard, but playing it and guitar at the same time is a little tricky at first...
