Flujo Alterno Records es un sello nacional independiente de reciente formacion con base en Morelia, Michoacan y dirigido por el entusiasta Hernani Villaseñor (curador sonoro del Observatorio de Morelia). Con una mecanica de lanzamiento inicial de CD-R's, este pequeño label es un adecuado y loable esfuerzo por difundir musica de calidad y con pocos medios a un publico diverso y avido de propuestas diferentes. The Dance of Death es un proyecto de Alvaro M (Dj Seppuku) y Matt J, ambos ciudadanos de California, EUA, ambos melomanos y entusiastas de la musica electronica en sus formas mas diversas y extremas. Con antecedentes en proyectos independientes de hardcore techno (Dread Mechanic), power noise (Seppuku/Esfinter Technologies) y ambient (Ireckon), los artistas detras de The Dance of Death saben perfectamente el camino que estan delineando aqui con "Bones of all Men". Un fluir constante de percusiones industriales en la mas clara vena de la vieja escuela (Throbbing Gristle, SPK, etc) sobre una expansiva onda atmosferica que hace las veces de extasis y de agonia. The Dance of Death The focus of this project was to achieve an original recording with an organic sound. Our musical style attempts to achieve a cinematic sound track feel with a unique industrial approach mimicking early industrial/musique concrete styles. The musical base for this is an assortment of original recorded material created by a variety of instruments including homemade drums, scrap metal, autoharp, guitar, bass, accordion, and other found objects. The ambient of this project was created using field recordings of factories and mechanical devices, mixed using both analog and digital synthesizers. The result of these two factors is "The Dance of Death", a project that contains NO SAMPLED material.
