Current mood:  anxious

Upon the goading of my peers I have been prompted to publish more ramblings. It has been a hellish couple of months and I am quite sorry to of neglected the past-time of ranting about my concerns for the tattered globe we dwell on. I did say many months ago that I had run out of things to say and that my next big push here was going to inevitably focus on Politics.

I was gearing up to make a stab at the Tories and there unprincipled currish ways. My natural loathing of that creed is being slowly silenced as I hear more and more people saying, "wow that new guy is so dynamic and he is bound to win". I am white with fear, hauled up in my basement, the revolution surely must be on its way, we can't afford to let people vote for this abomination - a wolf in wolfs clothing - glint in the eye, smiling wily over your first born child that hangs from his blood stained jaws.

With any luck the trots have cottoned on to the fact there is no room left for them in politics and will have taken  Blackfriars bridge, marching on fleet street, flag bearers to the fore singing "we shall over come someday". In reality they are probably opening hummus restaurants and arguing about the Beer House Putsch.

All I want for Christmas is for the angry clouds over Hemel Hempstead to swallow up Westminster and in their ashen fury make New Cross the new centre of power, I am sure I can make space in my office.

Dave, I love ya but, as an American, I did not understand one thing you just wrote!  I think I much prefer our political rants:  Bush sucks!  Now, where's my Big Mac?

Just kidding!  Your intelligent "ramblings" are more than welcome!  Now you know how I felt when the polls closed and that #($)U%$&*^ was elected AGAIN!

Cheers,

Angel

I do not know what worries me more. The fact that he is pretending not to be a tory ie. agreeing with Blair and stating that the Tories are the alternative to the Lib Dems, or the fact that The Queen is Dead is his favourite album when it is also mine.

Can I get some confirmation about The Queen is Dead being Camerons favourite album? This is causing some controversy in my home and does sound highly dubious as the even speak the words 'the Queen is dead' would, I would think, bring a tear to his eye, he is after all the leader of the Conservative party.

Perhaps I am wrong. Please prove it. Give me links to evidence that he really said this.

Dave not really sure what i am replying to here, its late nearly midnight i missed your show again and i'm rambling on.  just listen to my godamn show man.  by the way a colleague of mine is keen to start a band, he's found a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer and wants me to front it - it'll be a laugh - its a probation band - we're hoping to do something at the Xmas party.  He asked me to come up with a name for the band. After deliberating names such as; Badger, The Porcelain Gods, Headstart, Volume, The Referrals, High4u, Problem Solving Strategy.  We really liked the last one.  However, i've decided on copying your myspace dubrie and i'm looking at calling the band - "just dave" what do you think. Catch up with you shortly pal.  E

hi dave, i think its a good time to be optimistic, i think that the electorate is feeling a bit patronized at camerons attempts to spin his way to power. its too obvious, too cheesy, too smug, ive got faith in the general level of intelligence in this country.

although i could be really really wrong.

hope the house finding is going well,

melissa

Can I just say that I'll never appear on television again?
