The song 'Channel Cross' is a composite vision composed as the result of dreams, spirit visitations and good old imagination.  I've had the wonderful opportunity to spend extended periods of time traveling throughout Scotland, England and France.  In these locations, I spent the night in several 'haunted' castles, sites where wars were fought, where many people lived and died.  As an American not acclimatized to frequent encounters with 'ghosts,' I am quite sensitive to them.

'Channel Cross' is the story of one long past who remembers a love long lost.  It is the story of unreconciled memories.  It is a reminder to live in the present, to love as deeply as possible, and to leave no loose threads that may remain in this world...

I had the opportunity to work with an amazing assortment of musicians on this track include Tony Levin on bass guitar, Tony Morra on drums, Roger Manning Jr on keyboards, and an unsung hero on guitar, Robin Boult.

I worked quite hard to produce a vocal performance up to the caliber of the other musicians on the track.  I hope you enjoy 'Channel Cross'

sounds intriguing - I grew up in England and have visited France, but not Scotland.

....Mike, although all the tracks are great, "Channel Cross" is the one with the most energy, (IMO) and the most powerful. I'm hooked because you guys remind me of the progressive rock of the early 70's...Renaissance, King Crimson, etc. I also hear an Emerson, Lake and Palmer feel to your sound. Simply amazing and I credit you with bringing a brand new version of an older sound to young rock! ....

....All the best!
