Hi,
I think they must put something in the water out there cos we have got serious LA withdrawal symptoms.
They have been the best 6 days in the life of Vandeville Falls without a doubt and we will be working hard to get back there. Don't get me wrong, I adore the UK but sometimes you have to go where you think is best for your music and I think we have found it in LA!
Playing our first notes LIVE out there was great, we played an open mic at the Rainbow where we met some great people and had an awesome night after meeting The Noisettes in the Cat and Fiddle, they invited us to their gig at the Roxy the next night, it turns out Rick knows their backing singer, this place is wierd man, things just happen!
So The Noisettes kicked ass at the Roxy as we ate our free mini burgers and drank our free beer, someone pinch me, its too much!
Then off to the gig in the vintage clothing shop, it was just a joy, lots of beer and JD, wahoo how american, thanks to everyone who came down to see us, lots of fun! We ended up in Mels Diner at 4am eating burgers, my god I love LA!
Thanks to everyone we met for being so damn lovely, we will be back to bother you asap!
Check out the photos and video from LA.
