This is a festival for the whole family with many vendors, exhibits and a contest for youth, novice and the advanced adult, for garment and skein categories. The Spring Fiber Festival is all about the celebration of the fiber arts through the handiwork of the artisans that create from fiber such as yarn and natural and synthetic fibers. It focuses on the materials and the manual labor involved as part of its significance. Informal knitting lessons with “hands on” demonstrations for the public, quality vendors, exhibits and demonstrations.

The 4th Annual BBQ @ Sedalia will offer tastings May 30th. BBQ Teams will likely begin cooking Friday night and continue into the early hours of Saturday morning. The Jazz & Wine Festival (August 22nd) was new last year and met with huge success. This festival will feature a wide spectrum of jazz music, seafood and wine from vendors across ....Virginia..... Internationally known percussionist Robert Jospe (read about him here: http://www.robertjospe.com/about.html) is the headliner as well as conducting a workshop! .. ..

Sedalia’s Country Fair will be September 12th, and gives an opportunity to show off your best homegrown produce, home-canned vegetables, meats, fruits, baked goods and floral arrangements, both fresh and dried. An event for the whole family, this festival is sure to please all in attendance.

.. ..

October 31st wraps up ....Sedalia....’s season with the 13th Annual Chili Cook-off! Graciously sponsored by The Bank of The James, teams gather at ....Sedalia.... to create their favorite chili recipe and via for your votes. Bragging rights are on the line for this one!

This festival takes chili teams to a whole different level. Chili teams start cooking on-site beginning in the wee hours of Saturday morning.  The 4-person teams typically have lighthearted themes, but are completely serious about their chili recipes.  Don’t miss the fun.

Hi,

PLEASE keep us in mind for future events and hopefully our luck will be much better then, for it certainly cannot get any worse than it's been here lately!

I soooooo appreciate your inviting us to the last festival and am still saddened over missing the great opportunity to meet and network with you all... Yet, please also know that we are blessed by having you here on our page, etc.

I look forward to hearing from you again, Mr.
Joe!

Love and much respect,

~ Lisanne ~
