We've been getting alot of emails and messages saying: "Where the hell are you guys? When is UV touring again?!" Well after an extended summer break, we're busy booking new dates, so keep checking the tour page as we add shows local to you.
Our members have been busy with other musical endeavours including an original writing project soon to go into recording, and two of our guys have been helping out the world-renowned Classic Albums Live series, recreating the music of such legends as The Doors, The Eagles, AC/DC, and more. Ok, we admit, we've also been trying to soak up a bit of the sun and recharge the batteries too  ...
But we never lose our itch to play the music of our favorite band, U2! And things will be getting heated up what with the new U2 album out in the fall - and impending album tour in 09?! - so with that always comes new material to learn, which we are eagerly looking forward to.
Speaking of U2 albums, if you haven't had the chance, make sure you pick up the remastered early U2 stuff, it's well worth it for the b-sides, previously unreleased tracks, and the clearly audible remixing which brings out the beauty of the songs to an even higher level. We can't wait to see the Under a Blood Red Sky DVD release also, as that is probably one of our favorite shows. Apparently there will be 5 songs that were not included on the classic VHS release, so that will be nice to see as well.
