Just thought I would say something about 911. In my lifetime, it remains the most horrible thing to happen to America. Yet there as such unity afterwards. I still remember it well. I was at the house in Texas, unemployed at the time, and woke up just in time to see the announcement of the first plane hit the towers. At the time they thought it was an accident, then the second plane hit. Tee came home early as they feared attacks in other cities.I remember the terrible sinking feeling that day. I remember the eeriness of no planes in the sky in the days that followed. I remember the rites our kindred did after the attacks, and the moving prayer David Morehead gave. I think we should all pour some mead in honor of the lost and fallen that day.
