This greek band is a pernament guest in the NECROSCOPE since the 20#.thus it seems they work hard and release consequently next recordings.Furthermore the music of theirs is obviously better and better though still performed in the same,classical style.Because WITCHCURSE it's rare representative of the true and ancient heavy metal!Listening to them you move back into time of MANILLA ROAD,MERCYFUL FATE,FAITHFUL BREATH,JUDAS PRIEST,IRON MAIDEN and likes!I have to admit the Hellenic band is able to resuscitate the anxient feelinf perfectly and at the same time they create quite personal,interesting composition! The "Demon's warning" is professionally released on tape and includes 5,very,very tasty hymns!First WITCHCURSE knows how to create so mighty,mystic atmosphere by use of classical,trully agressive riffs,thus they are far away from banal,sweet melodies!Second they ceate straight forward music naturally,without technical,twisted shows,in spite of it the compositions of theirs are queit rich,they include many various riffs,hit solos and similarheavy metal shows.Consequently the discussed demo holds in tension by the whole time.Third,even if some riff here reminds of some older god(like the title track reminds IRON MAIDEN),"bed of fire" MERCYFUL FATE etc.) then the general impression is that they were able already to find their personal style,concept on the classic heavy metal ground.In this regard they are bit similar to the Polish SONHEILLON!summa summarum,when we look on the consequence and hard work(relatively,since it's heavy metal just!) of theirs we can believe WITCHCURSE slowly becomes the leading,underground band!Of course HEREGE WARFARE is responsible for this heavy metal pearl!
