So whose idea was it that we max out displaying our "top" 24 friends?  WTF! Am I the only person who thinks it's weird having to choose a clique of "top" friends, and then tossing everyone else into the "you, too" pile?

I would love to display EVERYONE!  I'm grateful for ALL of you.  I appreciate each and every one of my friends.

I'm open to suggestions on how to deal with this!

Sara spelled with an h was getting bored...

rotation...

and I agree.
I think there's some HTML out there that allows you to alter your page so you can have many of your friends show up in that.

Very true; it is sort of in the same hand as a middle school clique. But! A friend is a friend, and a dear friend is a dear friend, regardless of what place they are on a list.

... okay, this is really upsetting me.  As my overall list of 'myspace friends' grows, the percentage in my 'top 24' shrinks.  I really want to help promote the artists that I love - especially the ones who deserve greater recognition.  But every time I add someone, someone else gets bumped.  And I don't like that.

Should we start a campaign for MySpace to increase the maximum number of 'top friends'?

Grateful for any ideas.

I think most people realize they are not being snubbed, and if you are like me (with very few close friends), it's only the first three or four that really count anyway, and they never get rotated. I struggled with the top friends thing for awhile too. Now I just chill out about it. I'm not in too many top lists anyway...ha ha.

Hope you are enjoying life Michael. You should come back to Duluth some time. Take care and Happy New Year. Billy

You could just disable top friends.

Search on good "Hide top friends" and something good should come up!

Great music man, keep it up. I found you from Erik mongrains page.
