What if the Bible is true?

Would you care what is says?

Some people say they don't believe in it.  Does not believing in something make it false?  How many times in school have you taken a test where you believed the answer to be D, but you found out later that it was actually A?Did your not believing in A keep you from the consequences of choosing D?  Probably not.

Usually believing in the wrong answer on a test affects you only for a short time, depending on the importance of the test. Imagine though if that one wrong belief in the letter D affected you for the rest of your life!  Imagine if it affected who you would one day marry, where you worked, how much joy you experienced, how you spent your free time, and what you did with your money.

Hopefully you'll never have a test like that! But your beliefs in the truth of the Bible could affect your life that much...AND EVEN MORE!

If the Bible is true, then what you choose to do with it should be most important to you.

They do a really good job at giving you all of what the Bible teaches about hell. The site also has stories from a doctor who has been with people when they died and then were brought back to life. Some have described a heavenly experience, while others have been to Hell. It's a place of eternal torment. Some scholars believe it may actually be in the center of the Earth.

Pretty serious stuff, huh?

If Hell really exists, then do you really think that not believing in it will make it go away? Probably not. It's not the nonstop party place where the Devil runs things..sort of how cartoons and rock stars make it out to be.

Satan is actually not even there yet. It's the final place of punishment for him and his followers. His followers include both those who have purposefully chosen to be Devil worshipers, and all those others who have simply not chosen to follow Jesus Christ.

Now this is where a lot of people start to get mad and shout, "not fair!" But remember, we're simply saying,  WHAT IF?   What if the Bible is really true? Then we need to see what it says. In John 14:3, Jesus is quoted as saying "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."

So again, IF THE BIBLE IS TRUE...then the only way to not end up in Hell is through Jesus Christ.

That brings us to what the Bible calls the GOSPEL, which means THE GOOD NEWS. Hell is what we we're headed for WHEN we are born!  Think about it. We are born selfish and sinful. God cannot allow sin to pollute Heaven...oh, yeah, MORE GOOD NEWS; if the Bible is true, then Heaven is a real place. And it is awesome!

Here's just a little bit of it described in the last book of the Bible, Revelation.  In chapter 21 verses 21-23 it reads "The twelve gates were made of pearls..each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass. I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light."

Did you know that God wants you to be there with Him one day? But he won't make you follow Him. The Bible says that He created us, but that He also gave us a free will, the ability to decide things for ourselves. In case we do chose Him, he's already paid the penalty for our sin with the sinless life of His Son.

Maybe you've heard the verse John 3:16. It says, "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

So what do you think?

What if the Bible really is true?

What if there really is life after death?

What if God really exists and He sent His only son to die in your place so that YOU could one day go to spend eternity with Him in Heaven?

And wanna get really out there in your thinking?  What if He actually led you to this site today because he wanted you to know all of this so that you would choose RIGHT NOW to humble yourself and admit to Him that He is right, that you are a sinner, and that you need him to save you?

He really does stuff like this all the time.

So if you wanna begin a relationship right now with the only guy who can get you into Heaven, pray this prayer:

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Thank you for dying on the cross to save me from my sin. I believe that you are the only way to Heaven. Please help me now to live in a way that honors you. Amen.
