Tha calling of god tellin me to come closer....
I ignored his calls and warnings he gave me...
Acted like I was better or bigger than him...
Yet he's bigger than me & my dreams in life....
Drugs,Gangs,lying,stealing,hurting people....
A long dark road to death or pain for me....
I heard god callin me but It was on deaf ears...
He made me see without callin or yelling....
Takin wat I cared about and cheated to get...
I saw god with a mission and map for me...
Helping,Giving,Teaching,Reasoning,loving
Was tha right path for me to go down....
I had tha pyramid upside down and didn't see...
Fast and easy was me fallin to tha bottom...
Slow and hard was me climbing to tha top....
Tellin myself that I'm blessed to be alive...
He could have taken me away many times....
Yet I have a mission and callin in life for him...
Now when he calls I hear him loud and clear....
Counting my blessings and being humble....
Watchin waiting for his next call ....
Doin good for my family and friends....
Helpping others escape a deadly lifestyle...
Telling tha ungreatfull to praise god....
Remeber all tha times u could have died...
Yet ur still here thats god looking over u....
Sparing u saving u for ur calling.....
