(The Lamp)

There is a Lamp in our hearts, placed there from the beginning, placed there for a reason, this Lamp gives us a certain ability, I envision the lord as the giver of this lamp, as the giver of the ability. And I envision the word of God to be a Light bulb, that shines in our lamps, when Jesus knocked on the door, of your Heart and you accepted him and invited him to come in, the Lord entered not just to be there, but to find something that which he gave you from the beginning, ( the Lamp), I imagine that you are asking why is the lord looking for a lamp, I say  to you my brothers and sisters, before you invited Jesus in your heart, your heart was full of darkness, full of mess, full of sin, the lord entered your heart to clean your mess, purge you of your of sin, and to perform a task. He enters  to place light where there was darkness, he enters to place the word of the Father in your hearts so that when others cross your path, they too may see the glory of the lord revealed by the shining from your lamp , the lamp represents your sincere will to be cleansed and made whole, the light bulb represents Gods written word, If Jesus comes in to your heart, and finds the lamp, he will place the light bulb in your lamp giving you the ability to flip the switch, ( turn from your wicked ways) and let the light shine.

If Jesus comes in your heart and does not see the lamp ( your sincere will to be cleansed and made whole), he will turn around and leave,  until you find your lamp which he gave you from the beginning, Have you ever use a bathroom that had writing on the walls, have you ever saw where someone who had once been there write Joe was here 1992, sue was here 2000, Reggie was here 2004, well when you have a sincere will to be cleansed ( the Lamp) Jesus will put the light bulb in your lamp and autograph your heart by writing Jesus was here 2007, now you have been marked by the almighty , now his seal of approval is upon you.

Now Check this out, when Judgment time comes and its your turn to be judged, Jesus will open your door and look for that which he has given you, if the light is shining he will see his signature, this tells him that you invited him in your home (your heart) and you were sincere about it, now, he will invite you into his domain, and your new mansion. Some of us have misplaced our lamps, some have lost our lamps, and some have given our lamps to Satan in exchange for some worldly pleasure. Now under these types of circumstances one might think its over, or its too late, well I have good news for you, its not too late, and its not over yet, all you need is a RENEWED HEART, one with a built in Lamp. Think about this, if Georgia Power decides to shut your power off, because you owe $40.00 all they have to do is press a button to interrupt your service. Satan has seen your light shine, and is trying to interrupt your service and some of yall let the devil yank the cord of your lamp right out the socket. But how many of you know that when you bury yourself in the word of God, when you fast and pray, you are sincerely asking Jesus to come in and upgrade you service , Jesus comes in and finds your lamp , and the next thing you know , you are now wireless, the devil can yank all he want , you can now quote MC Hammer and say Satan " you cant touch this.
