It's almost here!!  Marc will be releasing his brand new soul cover album S.O.S.: Save Our Soul on June 26^th, 2007!  You can be sure you are the first to get this incredible album by pre-ordering it through Marc's online store right NOW!  Not only will you be the first to own the CD when it comes out, but all pre-sale CDs sold via Marc's online store will be autographed and include a 3 song, live bootleg CD as well as a new Marc Broussard sticker. 

Everyone who pre-orders a copy of the CD through Marc's online store will automatically be entered to win a Grand Prize package that is sure to make any Broussard fan smile.   The winner (and a guest of their choosing) will receive a trip to attend one of Marc Broussard's concerts during his summer 2007 Soul Revue Tour.  Included in this package are two (2) tickets and meet & greet passes for the show, round trip airline tickets for two (2) and a hotel room for two (2) nights - all other expenses, including ground transportation, meals and gratuities, are the responsibility of the winner.  The winner (and the winner's guest) must be at least the age required to get into the show that they would like to attend - meaning that you need to be 21 to attend a show whose age requirement is 21+.  The winner will be chosen at random on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 and will be contacted immediately.

And since we love contests so much, we have one designed especially for you myspacers out there.  All you have to do is copy this newsletter into your blog and bulletin using the title "Marc Broussard's new album on pre-sale now!!!" and post it for all of your myspace friends to see prior to noon Friday, April 27^th.  We will be checking all of our friend's bulletins between now and then and we'll choose one winner at random from the ones we see posted.  The winner will get two (2) tickets to any show on Marc's 2007 Summer Soul Revue Tour along with two (2) meet & greet passes and framed, autographed, handwritten lyrics to Marc's new song "Come In From The Cold" featured on S.O.S.: Save Our Soul.

For those who choose a different online forum, we have also started an official facebook community for Marc Broussard fans.  If he hasn't found you yet, give Marc a little poke, and then show your support and request him as a friend.  There will be facebook oriented contests soon to come!

* New Song Available For Download on Myspace Page for a Limited Time!

Beginning today, Marc's version of Al Green's classic, Love and Happiness (the first single off of S.O.S.), will be available for download on Marc's Myspace page.  Hear it even before it hits the airwaves!  Put it on your ipod.  Send it to a friend.  Sing it in the shower.  Dance to it in the middle of the sidewalk.  The song will only be available to download for the next three weeks, so make sure to grab it NOW!

* Summer Soul Revue Tour & Two Festival Appearances

Starting June 20^th in Birmingham, AL, Marc Broussard's Soul Revue will be heading out for a national tour.  What is a Soul Revue, you ask?  Imagine, if you will, an evening of classic soul and original songs with all of the special guest artists performing with the same amazing backing band and and each of them sitting in on each others' sets.  The show will transport you back to a time gone by modeled after the soul revues that toured the country back in the hayday of soul music.  We have yet to finalize all of the dates and special guests, but once we do, you'll be the first to know.  Make sure to sign up on the tour email update list on Marc's site to be the first to hear about tour plans!

While you are waiting for the full blown tour, check out Marc at The VA-Highland's Festival in Atlanta on June 3^rd and the Mountain Music Fest in Seattle on August 11^th.  Full details for both shows are below.

* Two Special Marc Shows This Week – Don't Miss Them! 

Marc will be performing two very special shows this week.  TONIGHT, he will perform an intimate acoustic show with his father, Ted Broussard, and special guest at The Blue Moon Saloon in Lafayette.  There are a limited number of tickets for this show available only at the door, so show up early if you haven't purchased yours yet.  On Thursday, Marc and his band will play a Jazz Fest kick off show in New Orleans at The Republic.  Tickets may be purchased at the venue box office or online here.  This will be Marc's last show in New Orleans for quite a while, so don't miss the chance to see him close to his home.
