Hello Folks,
Hope this finds you all well and warm. It has been a cold one here in Saskatchewan, but we all find ways to survive: chopping wood for the wood stove, ice fishing, snowshoeing, racing the cat to the sunspots in the house and, of course, playing some guitar.
Foy and I have been taking some time off considering last year was such busy one. Thanks to everyone for all their support, including all the people who helped out on the video of “In the Middle of Nowhere” which was filmed last November in the Beverage Room of the Nokomis Hotel. Just a couple of weekends ago we had a release party in the actual Bevie Room for all the local folks who were extras in and helped out with the shoot. The party was a wing-dinger of a time with the fantastic band, The Deep Dark Woods, from Saskatoon. I wonder when the last time that place saw such boogyin’ and hallabalooin’. There was definitely some dust knocked off the old stuffed pheasant.
If you haven’t already seen the video and are interested in viewing it, it is up on my Myspace page along side photos from the video shoot and the release party.

Click Here For Video! Some other news, I was interviewed a few months ago for the renowned Blues Revue Magazine out of the US. It was a feature issue on New Woman of the Blues. My name made the front cover and there was a great 2-page article by Stacy Jeffress. It is an honour to be recognized by that magazine. To find out more go to
www.bluesrevue.com or pick up the latest issue of Blues Revue.
There are some upcoming shows starting in March including a benefit concert in Regina SK and a trip to Austin TX for SouthBySoutwest (SXSW). For dates check the website:

Enjoy and all the best to everyone. More to come in the next few months.
Signing off to go for a snowshoe,
