Who Gives Kudos:

Wednesday, October 28, 2009
Just want to say a big 'thank you' to all who came to our shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London, particularly those that had to travel so far - it was great to have a chance to chat a bit - but there's never enough time on the road, and there were quite a few we didn't get any chance to see, apologies for that. We didn't really know what to expect but we had a great time and nobody died.

Thanks to Inge for the wonderful books she made and much more, thanks to Barney and Pod for making the shows happen in the first place, thanks to the amazing Rik for his work, thanks to Jan for working her butt off doing all the merchandising. There are so many more that I'd like to thank personally but I don't want to miss anyone out and I don't really know where to begin anyway. If I was a bit wobbly at the beginning of the London show I apologise - there had been problems backstage before the show and it was a pretty emotional night for me anyway - no professional show biz here, folks - but I forgot about it after a couple of numbers.

There are no plans for the future, circumstances prevent us from doing anything more as a band - but, y'know, nothing in life is 100% certain - apart from death, of course.

Thank you - over and out,

Steve

I disagree that the beginning of the London show was at all wobbly. And I was at all three shows!

It was an absolute pleasure Steve, I were at the London show and it were the first time I had ever seen the band. It was a fantastic night and you looked/sounded superb up there, wobbles or not.... thanks for such a special gig and for all the fantastic records, and I live in hope that there will be more to come, in one form or another...
Thanks again,
Fran.

Thank YOU, Steve,

It was obvious that the band enjoyed the gigs as much as WE did. If this really IS the last show, at least we can all go home with wonderous memories which will last us for the rest of our lives, and new friends found along the way to share them with.
