Well, its a brand new year with brand new opportunities and discoveries. I hope everyone had a safe and happy and fun New Years. Luke and I went out with some of our friends to the casino and then to Melankas and had a lovely night. My poor feet were killing me though, in tall gold stilettos...why oh why do we put ourselves through things like heels :P I guess we're just stupid :D

Now.. for resolutions...I've never been good at keeping my resolutions, but lets see how long I can keep them for.

1. I will go to the gym a few times a week. For the first month of so, I will go every other day. After that, if I have time I will go every day, for 1-2 hours each session. I want to see how much weight I can lose by the end of this year. Exceptions are public holidays and near death experiences.

2. I will strive harder to stay in contact with people. No more being a hermit.

3. Following the hermit comment, I will go out at least once a week. No more being a homebody. I'm young only once and I should go out and enjoy life. So once a week I will go out dancing, or to karaoke or just out to a pub.

4. I will find a nice job that will give me experience.

5. Once I get a job, I  will put most of my paycheck that isnt going into bills away and save it.

6. No more being lazy..at anything :P

I think that about covers it...Hopefully my last resolution will make me keep all my resolutions..we can only wait :P

Anyways.. Alice Springs is beautiful... Big wide open skies, warm..scratch that..hot breeze, sunny and lovely. Sitting in my folks back yard in the shade is just so relaxing. Town itself is..sorta looking nicer. They're done a lot of work to Alice Plaza, I hope the new shops will be nice and something that Alice needs. Its trying to spruce up the town a bit..they need all the luck they can get :P

Anywho, I'm off to search the web for jobs, at the moment, theres NOTHING in Alice Springs for me, but there are a few positions in Adelaide that I might try sending my resume to.
