Well...here I am on the eve of my first day of living in Alice Springs again. Spent the last 2 weeks packing and cleaning and being with my family in Adelaide and trying to say goodbye to everyone and not succeeding and being very tired, but finally, Luke and I left yesterday and arrived in Alice today.

Luke will start his new promising career as a lawyer tomorrow on the first day of his 6 week placement, being payed quite well and then getting a raise when the 6 weeks is over. And I am waiting to hear whether or not I'm getting chosen to be interviewed for this one job...and hoping they hurry soon, as I need to start scrimping and saving up to buy new furniture and to be able to pay the rent..when we find a place to move into that is. I hope I get this job though...it sounds like the kind of thing I always wanted..something different to what most people have, something interesting where I met new people and not stuck behind a desk all the time.

Its really nice to be back home with my family again, I feel safe and comforted and its just like I was younger..except better. But I'm looking forward to finding a nice place with Luke and starting our little "nest" again.

But, now its time to sleep and ignore the 40 boxes that await me and Luke when we finally unpack. My gaming life is gonna suffer till we find our own place :P
