As of 9:30ish pm tonight on the 6th of August (Picnic Day in the NT), I am officially engaged to Luke Timothy Gardiner, and we are no longer girlfriend and boyfriend but soon to be husband and wife :) I am the happiest girl in the world. He took me out to dinner at Oscars and gave me flowers and we drove up to the top of Anzac Hill and went out to the memorial overlooking Alice Springs, and he told me how much he loved me and some other sweet things and said he wanted to be with me forever and would love me always and got down on one knee and proposed to me with a beautiful ring, just always how I pictured it to be. He then brought out a  champagne bottle and some of my nice glasses that he brought along and we sat down looking down at all the lovely night time lights. Pity it was cold and we couldnt stay for very long. I couldnt imagine a more perfect setting or a more sweeter man and proposal, the silly thing was even a bit nervous I would say no, but I love him so much as if I would.

As for my other news, I had gotten a casual job at Katies a few months ago (shortly after my last post), which is a nice ladies fashion store, and then about over a month or so ago, I got offered the position of manager at Katies and I accepted, making this my first full time proper job and I'm enjoying it very much. Its nice working in a nice enviroment with mostly nice people and nice things. Its really cushy too, although being on my feet all day kinda sucks, coz I can't wear really nice shoes.

I also bought a new car, its 6 months old, and got it at the sweet price of $16500, which is good coz its a December model Ford Focus and its a deep red.

So everything is working together nicely, moving back with Luke seemed so scary at the time, but everything worked out nicely. Got a beautiful place, have a happy beautiful cat, got a nice job with nice pay, a new car and finally to top it off I'm engaged to the wonderful man I've been with for over 5 years and now have a wedding to plan...April sounds nice...

Was my birthday last month on the 8th, which was really nice, had a great day and got some nice things. But the best thing of all was that I was with my friends and my family and my loved ones.

Had a fondue party a few weeks ago, the chocolate worked really well..but need to work on the cheese, starting cooling down too quickly and set fast.

Went to a Body Shop party at my friend Moniques place that she was staying at and bought some nice stuff, hopefully it'll be here around the 20th August. And we had a little bbq at Ruth and Ewens place and watched a movie.

Anywho, even though I'm too excited and happy to go to bed, I better try seeing that I have work in the morning :(.
