"Last night my girlfriend and I were at the Coffee Haven in Long Beach for their comedy show.
We were very unimpressed with the majority of the performers. Most of them merely picked
on people in the crowd or "riffed" on the tired celebrity news of the day. We were of the
mind to get up and leave after finishing our food. Then this Gene Wilder-looking guy got up
on stage and blew us away! He was announced as Eric Lawson. He really took command
and looked confident, at ease, and like he was having the time of his life up there--the way
a professional is supposed to look! We laughed hard at his routine about singing to himself
at the mall and his gestures and facial expressions had us in stitches! I expect huge things in
the not too distand future for this wildly talented young man. Bravo, Mr. Lawson. Bravo!"
