Masterful Magazine - Cardiac Necropsy '16 Years of Anal Addict'
Singapore's Cardiac Necropsy formed in 1991 under the Infernal Scum moniker and released their first album in 1993. Now this career retrospective compiles the best known tracks of their recorded output. There are 8 tracks of 2001's "Sexxxblast Militant", 9 tracks of 2003/2006's "Scumwhore Superstar", 5 tracks of 2002's "Splitting the Vulva" and finally 2 tracks of 1993's "The Births Compilations". while the recording quality and productions might not differ wildly through out the different eras represented on this compilation Cardiac Necropsy remains a defiantly brutal force of the most primitive and insane porn/goregrind of the recent years. Much like (early) Napalm Death, Carcass, Hemdale and other grindcore bands Cardiac Necropsy blast, stomp and grind through the 23 tracks of this compilation. The cuts of this compilation are short and sweet, not wasting any time or outstaying their welcome. Of note is also the band's faithful cover of Gorerotted's semi-classic 'Put Your Bits in A Concrete Mix' from their 2001 album "Mutilated in Minutes". The bass-heavy production, thick guitar tone and straightforward, primitive drumming combined with the often hilarious samples and Disgorge (both US and Mexico) like deep growls and shrieked vocals make "Sixxxteen Years Of Anal Addict" a feast for fans of goregrind and grindcore alike. Asia has always had a knack for delivering the most insane grindcore, of which Bathtub Shitter and this band are shining examples.

After their excellent "Splitting the Vulva" SplitCD w/ NECROTIC CHAOS released in 2002, I never heard again from CARDIAC NECROPSY, thinking the band was no more active… and unfortunately I was right… But 2006 sees the re-union of the band now working on new material!! Before this new material is released, the band decided to unleash this promo release that includes 8 unreleased tracks recorded in 2003 and the 5 tracks from the "Splitting the Vulva" SplitCD, so for me 8 new tracks to wait for their new record! Musically these 8 unreleased tracks are still in the same vein, extreme Goregrind between DISGORGE (Mex) and early SQUASH BOWELS, but with something sounding a bit more like Death Metal, with more audible riffs and longer tracks. Raw and extreme release anyway, absolutely not for trendy ears, with Porn and Gore intro, chaotic blast beats, putrid and purulent vocals! Only the sound is a bit disappointing, that could be a bit better, more dynamic. Well, so the 5 last tracks are taken from this "Splitting the Vulva" release you can also check on the "Supreme Brutal Legions vol.1" 5-way SplitCD, and are for me fucking killer tracks!! Insane, perverse and extreme as Hell!! If you did not get the opportunity to check these tracks on "Splitting the Vulva" or on "Supreme Brutal Legions vol.1" you have to check them right now with this "Scumwhore Superstar" release!!! CARDIAC NECROPSY take a more bombastic Brutal Death approach. Its less smooth than their split mates, but its the rawness around the edges that take this away from the standard Death Metal tag. 4 members in this band, deliver 5 tracks that would sate the more hardened Brutal Deathster with a shitload of distortion, Vocals on the gutteral side yet not overly CBT style. Solid. The riffage more the short, sharp burst type- drumming that matches. I enjoyed it for sure, there's a hint of Grindcore such that this teeters on the brink between Brutal Death and Grind, but I lean toward the former as it lacks the frenzied ferocity of Grindcore. Production is decent, in fact I would perhaps more attribute the Grind elements to the rough edges of the production than the bands music. Still, An enjoyable first encounter with CARDIAC NECROPSY and Gore-Grind fans would definately see the worth in the band as equally as those with leaning toward the Brutal Death genre.

I bet this band is 1 of the most underground extreme metal band in Singapore.Porn, sadistic, torture, molestation, and sick gore inspired brutal death grind music was whati find inside their songs.
Monstrous and demonic growling vocals, chaotic and ear tearing guitar riffings, brutal bass section, ultra fast blast beats, top speed drumming and very powerful beatings. Extreme grinding metal music !

The bands are represented by more than one song so you get more of a sense where they're coming from. Cardiac Necropsy, also from Singapore, build on the sex and violence of A Clockwork Orange with explicit detail, expounding on their lyrics by sampling interviews with porn stars alongside scenes from gore flicks where the victim buys it.

Now, on to Singapore's Cardiac Necropsy. It doesn't take one too long to realise that these guys are really into porn. Right from the intro of a girl explaining why she likes cum on "Choking on Cum" to the pleasantly titled "Desecrating the Vulva," these four pornogrinders lead us through a barrage of devastating blast beats and dirty yet furious riffing. "Blood Sex And Saliva" has such an awesome groove it just wont let go of your head until it is split in two. Apparently these guys have been around since the early 90's and if that is indeed true, hat's off to them. This is good, devastating stuff!

Then comes Cardiac Necropsy which is in fact more of a grindcore gore band with extremely distorted vocals and ultra fast parts full of blast beats and chainsaw like guitars. Their music is extremely brutal too and will smash your brain to pieces.
