Just the same reason Black Sabbath formed. Guess the plague has returned.

The Black Death was named for the plague, also out of love for classic black n white horror movies like Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, Bela Lugosi, Christopher Lee, Edgar Allen Poe.

Formed around the same time as Black Sabbath formed, formed in the same place as Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. But out first release came out in 69.

Also, the Black Death formed for the same reason as Priest formed, because of our Midlands upbringing in the British industrial city. Our sound is that bone-crushing British steel with bone-crushing leads, runs, rhythms, solos. Ploddy, slower, dungeony, heavy, gloomy doomy. The Black Death is the first real wave of British metal.

Also may do a that Snow Ghost graphics on a Gibson EXP and/or a Hamer standard 59 signature model of the Black Death, and that Snow Ghost is still the metal you want to follow, we play metal to kick your arse.

Give heavy metal a real kick in the gut. Hoping to open a house of people called Road To Hope. Hope to do a bass, too.
