This is just to let all of our faithful readers know there is a new location on the Internet to keep up with happenings in the Irish and Scottish communities in the American Midwest at www.midwestirishfocus.blogspot.com.

While the original intent of getting set up on MySpace was to provide a blog location for breaking news, the honest truth is that it is just becoming too annoying using MySpace these days what with all the signing in and re-verifying yourself every time you turn around. The new location, a Blogger service, is more readily accessed and doesn't require a membership.

For the time being, we will continue to use MySpace to store all the photos we take at the various events but our goal is to eventually move all this to our home page at www.midwestirishfocus.com which is, unfortunately, still very much under construction. In time, we will also be storing PDFs of past issues so you can find back issues of editions you may have missed.

In the meantime, our new location also gives us a chance to hear from readers who may not necessarily be MySpace members who will be able to leave comments that we hope will help us to further tailor our printed product to better serve your needs.
