Formal science is a bit like a child to the universe and, just like any kid, it can often think it knows it all. There are forces around us that have existed since primeval times, and i think a hugely suppressed part of all us is capable of sensing them. So far, I'm sure we've only scratched the surface of reality and all too often examine the world with a two dimensional approach - I've been as guilty of that as any.

Our brains are hugely sophisticated organs and are capable of incredible things. A thought or idea is conjured up out a bunch of chemical and electrical impulses, and for an instant, that thought becomes our reality. The very nature of how an individual perceives the world is a miracle in its own right. Who is to say that I'm viewing the same reality as the next person? What I see as yellow might be a completely different hue to everyone else, but I've learned that yellow looks that way and it will take a quantum leap of acceptance to convince me I'm wrong.

I feel that the same goes for how we interact with the forces around us. If we have evolved to block out a certain frequency of sensory perception that we no longer deem useful, it's all too easy to deny its existence - it doesn't mean that that channel no longer exists. Radio waves are only apparent if we tune into them and music on a CD is only audible if we use the right device to replay it.

We are living in an age where nothing is allowed to exist until it can be measured or quantified, but not all things are easily measured.

Love and hate are powerful feelings that can manifest situations capable of creating change in the physical world in very real and dramatic ways, but they are "just" emotions. These emotions may produce eletrical and chemical effects on the body which are measurable in some way, but their fundamental essence is intagible.

Our emotions eminate from a great uncharted area of our minds and have no physical mass, but our whole existence is governed by our reaction and interaction with them. We all know that emotions have a real effect upon us because we all experience their power on a constant basis.

If we accept the abstract nature of emotion, then why is it impossible for paranormal phenomenon and influence to have an equally profound effect upon the world around us. The problem is that we have been taught throughout our lives to supress our ability to experience these extra sensory perceptions because they defy the modern obsession of measure and quantify.

Well said.

No one can deny the human eye! I have seen about four "souls" without bodies, probably due to the healing path I have taken and the fact that I have sent out the message of understanding and I reach out my hand to help them. They can be much easier to help than ones in bodies that's for sure!
