A new song I wrote, 'Train', is in a movie hitting theaters this week called American Teen, directed by Nanette Burstein. The movie is being widely distributed and should be playing in most major cities. It earned Burstein the Directing Award this year at Sundance.

The soundtrack includes The New Pornographers, Blackalicious, MGMT, Does it Offend You Yeah, Black Kids, Cat Stevens, the Unicorns and others. It's being distributed by Columbia Records and is available in music stores as well as Amazon and Itunes.

I saw the movie yesterday and instantly bought your album on itunes after hearing this. The only problem is, you can't download 'Train' if you live in the UK! I don't really wanna buy the CD of the whole soundtrack either.
Is there any way I can just get this track?

hmm, thats a bummer. I'll see what the deal is with that from the label. Was it possible to buy other tracks from the soundtrack or was it just mine?

Hey, sorry I took so long to reply... I kinda forgot I even posted this. Yeah you can buy 3 of the songs from the soundtrack but unfortunately not yours. Its a shame though cos its a great song.



PS I'm really into the album at the moment! Hope to hear more of your solo stuff soon.
