Why exactly did we have to waste 300 million dollars..only to be stuck with the same sneaky, corporate prime minister that we had last time around?
Why didn't Canadians vote?
Why are the conservatives saying "Canadians have chosen and they support Harper"?
As far as I can see .. seems like the majority of this country does not support the government...yet we are stuck with them. Its this sort of apathy that makes me want to leave this beautiful land that I love so much.
Eventually we are going to have to wake up and start fighting. eventually..
I suppose I'll keep trying..
phew well all that was just to say..I will be overseas for a little while and I look forward to playing there.
Be Well

I would love to repost this but just got locked down for the 40th time. Truth is authority just can't cope with people. Real people. The public has a low tolerance for government these days. Too unreal. Louis Riel was once questioned about his state of sanity. He replied the problem is the insanity of the state. Canada is two countries. The no. 1 ribbon of urban centers where power resides and the vastness of nature extending to the top of the earth. She will still be here when you get back. Enjoy the hemispheres - EL

Don't worry about politics. Canada is a really liberal country where the conservatives have to play the game. who knows, Canadians might have voted a majority. besides, harper is probably going to get thrown out of office and the votes he got won't matter anyway.

well a coalition would have been a bad idea, because next time it will be a Conserative-bloc coalition. personally I am fundamentally against the coalition. I don't believe in changing the rules right after an election, then changing peoples votes.
