I was just sitting there in the audience enjoying another great solo show. The acoustic version of "Please" had just finished when Aaron stepped off of his stool. He turned his attention sidestage and called out to Pete. "You wanna bring that out for me," he said. Pete walked across the stage and handed Aaron a bottle of Dom Perignon. Aaron stepped back to the mic and said, "Hey Lisa where you at? Lisa, Where'd ya go?", a slight paused seemed like eternity as I sat and trembled, wondering, could I be the Lisa he's calling. When he panned the crowd and said, "Addicted to Staind, where is she?". I uncontrollably screamed out and stood up as the entire venue gave me an extremely loud ovation. My voice strangely turned into a little child's whimper as I tried to say, "I'm here." Aaron couldn't see me in the dark arena and yelled out "Where are ya? come here." I scurried to the stage, Aaron said "Happy Birthday" and handed me the bottle. Shocked and speechless I stood there for a sec. Aaron then told me "That's for everything you do for me, Thank You." I turned and headed back to my seat and amidst the applause Aaron said "Happy Birthday," I turned and said in that little baby voice, "Thank You". I sat back down in my seat and just sat there. I really couldn't even tell you what song he played next, I was in my own little world and enjoying every minute of it. Rocco, kept trying to get me to stop smiling but it was just impossible to stop smiling. This was the night of my life and it will be a night I will never forget.
