Tar does not serve its purpose, which is to fill in cracks to prevent people from falling in or something like that. Its just going to peel up, or sink in. Either way, the crack will still be there. Ive even seen these contruction idiots fill in potholes with this stuff. Its a waste of tax payers dollars, and its a waste of oil. The alternative to this would be something that last longer like cement, or pavement.
