Yeah, I broke down a while ago and started to add more of my ... straightforward? stuff.  I'm not entirely sure why, frankly.  In part I just feel like there's a lot of stuff I've been working on that doesn't fall under my perception of what p::i is.   (Not that I have a real clear conception of what it *is*, mind you...) 

And in part 'cuz after years of fighting I think I've finally come to accept my name and actually *like* it.  Naturally there's a bit of narcissism involved.  But for me having grown up with this questionably pronouncable and all-too-easily mockable nomenclature has been something of a burden.  "Moon Unit" and "Dweezil" it may not be, of course, but...

Anywho, it's kinda screwy - I currenly list myself as "Acoustic/Funk/Indie".[*]  I guess it's a sort of "pick the most vague and all-inclusive and see what sticks" sort of approach. I'm not sure the "funk" part will ever get in there.  It's in the back of my mind a lot as I'm writing but I often surprise myself at how... elevator/soft rock a lot of my stuff winds up.  LOL

So... yeah.  I'm here with some of the random crap that comes out of my imagination.  I guess it's more singer/songwriter-ish.  Maybe - if I can ever throttle my stage fright - it's stuff I could perform solo.

Wouldn't that be scary!
