Communities Against Rape and
Abuse (CARA) is Currently writing a
neighborhood matching grant for
Ladies First to help:

Provide women, trans,
gender non-confirming, two-spirit, queer women spaces to be center
stage,
practice and hone their skills, and share their knowledge with each
other. ( Ladies First 1st Saturdays Monthly showcase @ HIDMO, Artist
development workshops, and Ladies First Concert)
·
Create an educated community/audience that
values these marginalized voices and therefore offers a supportive and safe
environment for self expression and personal growth.
·
Develop Capacity of this collective through
community outreach and creating organizing opportunities.
