so earlier today a few policemen and two policewomen came over and kicked me out of my home.  woe is me.  they said it was illegal to live in unused houses and that we would have to leave.  to their credit they were very good about it, but its sad that we live in a world in which you can be thrown out of a house that is not being lived in, or used in any way by the owner of said house, just so they can continue to do absolutely nothing with it.  If they were actually going to use it, even as a holiday house, i would have gladly left but... i guess it goes back to being no benefit to humanity what so ever once again.  anyway on the up side i have friends up the coast with a spare room right on the beach so all is not lost.  hooray, life is still good.

Hi darl,

I'm sorry, I should have used my skills to charm the pants off the policeman (and the 2 policegirls - we had just the right numbers for Spin the Bottle!), just like I did in my dream a few months back. You are always welcome to snuggle at my place should the need arise...

i was wondering about that, i noticed when i was going to buy a house that u can't let anyone rent it or have freedoms unless your almost dead and have the house paid for...yet in Costa Rica if you leave your house for so long, anyone can come and build on or move into your house without notice.....I guess life will be a beach for you for a while. Can you get your house back if you want to live in it?

If you come to New Orleans, we have a lot of empty houses you could stay in without being bothered.  However, you wouldn't have water or electricity!

Of course, you still have to figure out how to cross oceans first! :)

Good Luck with everything and I am glad you have a good friend to give you refuge during the upheavals in your life.
