Research is one of my favorite parts of this job (ok, I like it all, even editing--I know weird). I am finding out the most awesome stuff. For instance, there were prominent scientist 100 years ago who were urging the government to stop using nonrenewable resources (coal, gasoline, wood) for our power. Over 100 Years ago!!!!!
How disappointing we didn't listen back then. We may not be in the mess we're in right now if we had.
As a species we can be so dumb sometimes.
