........

was one of my favourite tracks by them.....Oasis.
everybodys got an opinion about the most household rock name in my generation.
Oasis are the reason i picked up guitar along with Nirvana.
Noel was my childhood hero
I almost hope in a way that this is the end for a long while at least as an instant reunion would drag the name even further in the mud.
I saw the wembley show for familiar to millions
I saw them crumbling at Brighton with rediculous onstage tension
I saw them Blitz through dont believe the truth at the rose bowl
I saw one of the best gigs in my life at finsbury park
and i just saw them on the biggest world tour theyve done which in turn killed them off.
Each gig has been a memory, as has every record, which seem to act as a beacon to different periods of time.
Oasis made me feel alive
People are scared to say that nowadays in case it jeapordises other people perception of them musically.
Every artists wants to quote something so random that it somehow shows their musical credibility. I listen to everything nowadays, and have moved very far away musically from my teenage fixation with indie rock, doesnt mean these songs arnt special to me....far from it
They were extremly special to me.
It was what it was....it wasnt kid A, it wasnt Buckley, and it wasnt a pleasant place at times at shows because of idiots that latch onto lad culture and act like pricks...
but Oasis...
are Oasis
And i thank them for that
Noel solo.................
and now your free Noel...pleeeease do something wierd! you know you want to!!!!
Stay Safe
