To Get The Girls. The Greyhound Hotel.
Inpress Indie Initiative. Wednesday May 24. By Neil Wedd

A terrific night that showed the fantastic talent that is around in Melbourne.

A good crowd in attendance, which made for an enjoyable buzz around the whole night.

I was impressed by To Get The Girls. They are a bit like Gyroscope, all frantic energy and the singer poring words out like a firehose on an unquenchable fire. The songs seemed to be filled with words and go on forever. The playing was spot on and when the twin guitars came into action shivers went down my back. Every band needs a point of difference and this was it for me. Energy, passion, intensity and those twin guitars made them stand out.

"The songs seemed to be filled with words and go on forever."? Rancid Reveiw.
Apart from the "Energy, passion, intensity." bit, that was spot on.
Angus get Joe Walton to write you a reveiw, that guy is fucking eloquent.
And he liked your show. He told me.
I must say i concur.
Ado's drums are good, like really good, like, up there, quality.
Angus has the ability to convey a song's vibe, feeling, emotion or whatever to the audience.
More importantly, you guys rock out.
"Energy, passion, intensity."
That's my greyhound reveiw, kebabs n all.
