If you weren’t aware, the new and improved* Deafixion will be held on Fridays starting November 13th (and if you weren’t, you’re aware now. Hey- the more you know). Yup- FRIDAYS!
Also, the new website is up. Sorta. It’s at http://www.louisvillegoth...com/ and right now it’s pretty much just a splash page that gives you links to hit up the MySpace and Facebook accounts. It’s coming, and I’m working on it, but these things take time and there’s a lot of promoting to do… which is where you come in.

I’m humbly asking for your assistance. I for one would love for that Friday to be our biggest night yet, but that takes a LOT of promotion. Unfortunately, Mark, Edwin, and I can’t do it all alone (and believe me, I realize a lot of you out there are helping by making flyers, re-posting bulletins, etc., and it goes neither unnoticed nor unappreciated). So to help pimp our little event I’m asking you, the Louisville goth community, to do everything you can to get the word out about the new night. In order to help you help us help all of us, I’ve put together a little promotions kit that can be downloaded here:

We’re a small but devoted community. With our combined efforts, we can become a huge and devoted community. Sort of like a spooky Captain Planet or something... er, yeah. Anyway, I’d like to get some serious promotion done in the Southern Indiana areas (New Albany, Clarksville, Jeffersonville, etc.) as well as in a bit more north, such as in Corydon, Palmyra, and Salem. Harrison and Washington County people, you know who you are.

Oh, I should mention that the little flyers can be used as $2 off coupons for entry on the 13th. Anyone can use them.

So go forth, my minions, and do my evil bidding and all that. Seriously, though- thank you. Your time and efforts mean more to all of us than you can imagine.

I downloaded the promo kit and the HTML link that comes in the txt file does not work. It seems that myspace is blocking the http://louisvillegoth.com/ webpage as spam or phishing...

Try copy/pasting the URL. Im not sure about the .txt document though. It works for me. Maybe you need different software to view it?

Oh no, the text document works fine, its the link that is contained within. I put it on my profile, and when you click the image on my profile its SUPPOSED to take you to http://louisvillegoth.com/. Instead it forwards me to a myspace spam page or something. Maybe its just firefox haha....



^ When I click that it will not let me go directly to the website...

Ill make up flyers of my own to post and pass out if thats ok.i use my cell to check all of this since i have no comp.also is there a theme for tommarow nite being the last tuesday goth event? I have people curious to know.and is there a theme 4 the 13th? Thanks.~kat

Well, first of all THANK YOU for helping!!! Seriously -- to everyone helping out it means a lot!
Secondly, yes, you can make your own but be sure to include all the exact info that we put out so people dont get confused!

And tomorrow, there is no theme.
the 13th's theme is FRIDAY THE 13th of course!
