I. Call to Order

  •  Remington motions to approve minutes, Melissa seconds
IV. Ongoing Business
a. Business Plan Distribution – What Next? 
  • Group agrees to continue comfortable plan distribution.
b. Lucky Lou's Workshop - James (now Remington)
  • Remington still waiting on James for Lou's contact info.
  • Melissa motions to table until further development, Taylor seconds.
c. Website Update
  • Howard briefs group on potential qcbs website, qcbs.wordpress.org
d. Craft Night
  • Recon revealed at Christina's house: rusty frames, huge trash can of bike tubes
  • Howard reports that he emailed Denton Craft Mafia, which looks to be defunct.
  • craft idea supplies, bolts, hemp jewelry, headbadges, tubes (for windchimes?), rusty chains, sprockets, chimes, handlebars, seats, brakes/shifter cables
  • Melissa and Howard (and anyone else) will go do Craft Recon II on Fri eve
  • group will come up with focused list of potential craft projects
e. Alternate Meeting locations
  • Howard reports that he spoke with John Riegelman at Denton Visual Arts Center, and the center would cost $50/night plus $15/hr for additional hours.  Group agrees to pursue other options. 
  • Remington agrees to contact civic center and any other potential meeting hosts.  
f. Denton Rail Ride
  • Group chooses Sep 13 (Saturday) for Rail Ride tentative date. 
  • Group discusses inconvenient trail termination/crossing at 288 and concurs that group will turnaround and come back. 
  • Group concurs that ride will begin and end on courthouse lawn, ending in Beth Marie's.  
  • Melissa motions for 10:30 ride commencement, Matt seconds.

  • Remington will contact potential locations and contact more plan recipients
